WHO WE ARE

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee is made up of Mission Viejo residents and business owners who are working together to make the community and the entire South County a better place in which to live, work and play.

The committee is a non-profit, volunteer, civic organization that promotes and carries out community service activities for the benefit of the citizens of Mission Viejo, CA. The group of volunteers has duly elected officers and subcommittees to plan, promote and facilitate each of the many annual functions.

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. Meetings begin a 7:30 pm and last approximately 90 minutes.

MVAC YOUTH GROUP

In addition to our adult volunteers, MVAC also has a Youth Group which participates in all MVAC events.  Youth Group volunteers must be between the ages of 10-17. MVAC is a very family oriented organization and encourages parents to join and participate in all events with their children.

Youth group participation includes...

  • Costumed characters at specific events
  • Hot chocolate handout and Santa's elves during Santa's workshop
  • Food Court helpers at the Holiday Boutique
  • July 4th Street Faire helpers

High School and Middle School students can also earn community service credits as well.  What are you waiting for? Join the Mission Viejo Activities Committee Youth Group today.
