- Why did you choose to join MVAC?
I joined MVAC because when my children were young we participated in all the MVAC activities. I wanted to give back for all the fun my children and I had.
- What is special about MVAC to you?
I enjoy being a part of a community whose sole purpose is to bring joy to others.
- What is your favorite event to participate in?
My favorite events are during the Holiday season.

- Why did you choose to join MVAC?
I joined the Mission Viejo Activities Committee in 1990. We had recently moved here from the east coast and did not know anyone in our new location. We knew it would be up to us to build new relationships. My husband and I attended the 4th of July Street Faire and saw an information booth and we thought this might be a starting point. My husband joined a little later in 1992. It was the best decision; we have made many lifelong friends.
- What is special about MVAC to you?
What has been invaluable to me is how Mission Viejo Activities Committee allowed me to become so connected to my community , its leaders and a wide range of activities. This connection is what makes Mission Viejo my hometown. I am proud of the traditions that Mission Viejo Activities Committee brings to the community and have been honored to be a part of it for so many years.
- What is your favorite event to participate in?
My favorite event is obviously the 4th of July since it was so instrumental in my Mission Viejo journey. I like that it is a large community event that offers something for everyone and that it so well attended.

- Why did you choose to join MVAC?
I joined MVAC to give back to the local community. My family has lived in Mission Viejo for over 30 years, we raised our family here and have enjoyed this wonderful City, and this is my way of giving back to the community.
- What is special about MVAC to you?
MVAC is special because it is made up of dedicated volunteers who all want to give of their time and talents to put on local, family oriented and fun events in Mission Viejo!
- What is your favorite event to participate in?
MVAC does so many wonderful events, but one of my favorites is the 4th of July Street Faire and Fireworks display event! It is so much fun to see the community come out with their families, often dressed up in red, white and blue, and enjoy celebrating this special Holiday together!
